GRAPHICS AND PRODUCTS

My love for skate graphics stems from the mid-to-late 80’s and seeing the incredibly iconic images produced by Courtland Johnson for Powell Peralta, Pusshead’s Zorlac graphics and many more unsavory characters that appealed to me as a 13-16 year old kid. I always loved and still do love the aesthetic from that era. It was high contrast, raw and filled with vitality. Later I learned the Courtland Johnson did Lino-cut prints for the Powell graphics and I would find the medium later when I was 18 years old and starting classes at community college in Virginia Beach. To this day, 32 years later, I still use Lino and woodcut prints for all of my images, patterns and graphics. Some notable companies I’ve worked with are Antihero skateboards, Vans, Deathwish records, Independent Trucks, Nitro Snowboards, New Belgium Beer and Flora Springs Wine.
